FRIDAY
What
is it? First
Friday is a church-wide
prayer meeting scheduled for the
First Friday of every month (it
began January 5, 2007).
What
is the purpose? to display our
dependency on God by becoming a
praying church seeking God's will,
to honor God, and reach our
neighbors for Christ
What
will we do? First Friday
will include elements of creative
worship and prayer
Is
there more? An
optional time of fasting is
encouraged from Thursday 7pm through
the First Friday event with the
invitation to a time of fellowship
afterward at a local restaurant.
The time of food and
fellowship is open to everyone
regardless of fasting.
